Sometimes one persons ugly is another ones beauty. Simple design and brick costs less.

Hey 5 units have been sold in the 17th street building marked "newborn" This just blows my mind. For all the discussion about the merits of these type of buildings they must be making money for the developer. I got to tell you that i have seen this building being built from the start as well as the "finished product". They are simply a mess. Check out how the next store house actually overlaps the new construction. The three driveway curb-cuts and completely cemented front parking lot is unbelievable, yet somehow legal. I think the lowest priced unit was $500,000. People in the nabe seem to think it's a good thing, "better than the vacant lot".
